2019 USD 475 Annual STEM Fair

Wednesday evening, May 15, 2019, the USD475 K-5 STEM Team hosted the fourth annual STEM Fair at the Junction City Middle School. This event celebrates projects that combine Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The night offered a glimpse into STEM learning that is happening in our elementary schools. Displays ranged from classroom science projects to individual students displaying their computer science skills. Students representing elementary schools were present during the event. Year four of the STEM Fair was a huge success due to all of the amazing students and teachers that participated. USD 475 would like to thank the STEM team for a successful year of learning in the district.

The Fair took place on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and had a variety of special guests that attended including:

STEM Programming from Dorothy Bramalage Public Library
Junction City Fire Department
Build-Pride Trade Careers
Fishing with Kansas Department of Public Works
Wastewater Treatment Plant Display
Milford Nature Center
Cloud Community College Chemist
Fort Riley Department of Public Works
Flint Hills Veterinary Clinic
Kona Ice
