Journalism Students Win Honors

JUNCTION CITY, KAN. – Recently, students from the Junction City High School participated in a competition hosted by the Kansas Scholastic Press Association at the regional level. Several students placed in the competition bringing honors to the JCHS journalism program. This was the first time that Junction City High School has entered the contest.

Torrie Simmons- 1st Place Editorial Writing
Tray Minor – 1st Place Sports Photography
Lexe West- Honorable Mention Yearbook Sports Writing

These three students now qualify for the KSPA State Contest on May 4, 2019, at the University of Kansas.
