Red Ribbon Week stems from a national campaign working towards a Drug-Free America. As members of the community, we can all help educate our children to ensure they live drug-free lives. The following list offers ways you can help your child stay drug free.
- Set clear rules about not using drugs
- Set a good example by not using any illegal drugs or medicine without a prescription
- Monitor your child’s behavior and enforce consequences if the rules set are ever broken
- Have open and honest conversations about the dangers of drugs
