Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who are born in the U.S. or by naturalization, have become citizens. Today, 231 years later, Franklin Elementary spent the day teaching their students about the United States Constitution and its significance. Students at the library received a special lesson by Mrs. Deam and watched an educational video. Each classroom participated with their own activities throughout the day as well.
