2018 Freedom Walks

Each year, USD 475 schools participate in Freedom Walks and encourage students, staff, and families to wear Red, White, and Blue to show their patriotism and national pride. Freedom Walks are held around the nation every September 11th, in remembrance of the lives lost on 9-11, to honor all women and men in uniform, and to support military families.

Students further showed their support by making banners, hats, and carrying flags throughout the walk. Many schools sang patriotic songs before their walk to thank all first responders and military for all that they do for our country. USD 475 Freedom Walks are always a great way for students, staff, parents, and the community to come together to show their support.
