JUNCTION CITY, KAN. – The Geary County Schools USD 475 Board of Education invites community members, students, and staff to participate in the search for a new Superintendent. Input collected during these surveys will be valuable to the process, as results will assist the Board in developing a profile of the ideal Superintendent candidate.
There are two surveys, the District 33 and the District Review, located at www.usd475.org, which take a few minutes to complete and are available until 8:00 AM on September 17, 2018. Community members can access the surveys by clicking “Read More” on the survey banner located on the district homepage.
The “District 33” survey asks respondents to select the top ten characteristics that are most important in the selection of a new Superintendent, from a list of 33 total characteristics. The “District Review” survey poses 15 questions about the state of the school district and asks respondents to base their views on a scale of 1 to 5.
Online surveys open today, August 7, 2018, and USD 475 officials encourage the community to participate in the process.
