Library staff has gamified it’s Accelerated Reader program this year with a Harry Potter theme. Students (K-5) at Morris Hill Elementary were sorted into their Hogwarts houses at the beginning of the school year, and have been adding points to their house cups ever since. Each quarter, the houses compete for the most points by taking Accelerated Reader tests and earning Life Skill tickets for outstanding behavior. The house with the most points at the end of the quarter earns a Harry Potter themed party, where all of the winning house members get to participate. Ravenclaw earned the most house points for third quarter and designed their own wands to celebrate!
