With the movie soon to be in theaters March 9, 2018, now is a great time to read “A Wrinkle in Time.” This classic tale is filled with adventure and intrigue following a thirteen-year-old Meg Murry. Murry comes from an ordinary, yet extraordinary family; a scientist mother, a scientist father, athletic 10-year-old twin brothers, and her 5-year-old genius brother Charles.
Through their adventure to find their missing father, Charles and Meg find themselves encountering characters like Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which; three very strange characters who will help them on their journey. The children then travel to the dark planet of Camazotz, which has “given in” to the Black Thing. Meg’s father is trapped there.
How will Meg and Charles manage to free their father from the evil brain that controls Camazotz? Check out a copy of “A Wrinkle in Time” from your local library and read your way through this adventure before you see the movie in theaters this month.
