On February 27th, 2018, schools across the region of Kansas came together at Pittsburg State University for the annual HOSA Future Health Professionals spring conference. HOSA is an international student organization, to which is career-oriented and promotes both medical and health science education.
At each Kansas spring conference, individuals and teams from each school compete in various events that cover multiple topics in the health science field. Students are able to compete in events that are either individual or teamwork, varying from health professions, to emergency preparedness, to leadership.
The students from Junction City High School brought home 9 medals from the HOSA spring conference, each placing in multiple competition events.
