Stuff the Bus

School will be starting before long and parents will begin making tough choices about what they can afford for school supplies. This will be the seventh year that United Way has conducted “Stuff the Bus” in Junction City as a way to assist the low-income families who often struggle to provide the supplies they need to succeed in school. In order to help United Way gather supplies to send kids back to school equipped to learn, donate school supplies to the following collection points:

Walmart, 521 E Chestnut, Saturday, July 22, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Dillons, 618 W 6th Street, July 29, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Walmart, 521 E Chestnut, Saturday, July 29, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Walmart, 521 E Chestnut, Thursday, August 3, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Walmart, 521 E Chestnut, Friday, August 4, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Supplies may also be brought to United Way, 139 E 8th Street. The office is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Business drop locations: Central National Bank Locations, Exchange Bank Locations, Intrust Bank, KS State Bank, Landmark National Bank, Millennium Bank, Sunflower Bank, Dillons, Walmart, and Keller-Williams Hometown Professional Reality. Turn in any donation on Friday, August 11, 2017.

Make donation, checks made payable to United Way, P.O. Box 567, Junction City, KS 66441. Be sure to write Stuff the Bus on the memo line.
