National Pick Strawberries Day

Every 20th of May, National Pick Strawberries Day is observed just in time for summer! Strawberry picking generally ranges from late April throughout the summer months. This fruit is a part of the rose family, the only fruit with seeds on the outside. Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C, they are low-calorie, and are a good source of fiber and folic acid. This wonder fruit can help fight bad cholesterol and reduce inflammation.
