Two Inducted into National German Honor Society

JUNCTION CITY, KAN.  – Geary County Schools USD 475 and Junction City High School announced on Friday, May 12, 2017, the induction of two students into the National German Honor Society (Delta Epsilon Phi, Kansas Nu Chapter).

A small ceremony took place at Junction City High School on May 7, 2017.

Inducted into this society was Chalee Williamson, sophomore and German 2 student and Brianna Ault, junior and German 4 student.

The National German Honor Society was founded in 1968 and is a branch of the American Association of Teachers of German. To be inducted, students must have completed at least three semesters of German classes, with a 3.6 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale, calculated on a cumulative basis for all semesters. Students should also have at least a 3.0 GPA in other classes.
