Superintendent of Schools Dr. Corbin Witt spent his morning visiting activities which were taking place throughout the district. We caught up with him at the Junction City High School Emergency Training Exercise. This exercise teamed local emergency services with high school students in public safety pathways and gave an in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at possible future careers.
Dr. Witt explained to reporters that this type of learning experience is valuable to students and also helps build and maintain positive relationships with the community.
You could also found Dr. Witt at the Kansas Kids Fitness Day held at the 12th Street Community Center or the Wellness Fair which was at Fort Riley Middle School.
